The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is fast approaching. Due to come into force across the UK on 25th May 2018, it will implement what has been described as the biggest change to data protection law in a generation.
Despite high-level media attention there is still widespread uncertainty about GDPR among businesses, with many yet to adopt a clear plan to ensure they meet the requirements of the new legislation. In this webinar, Carl looks into the approach businesses should take to gain a better understanding of GDPR, a greater level of compliance and reducing risk.
The aim of the webinar is to:
Identify some key examples of GDPR impact on HR practice;
Examine the way in which existing HR practices may need to change to be compliant under the new regime;
Allow you to use those examples to “sense check” / inform your own thinking on GDPR and the application to your practice / organisation.
